The BDP is a Bachelor’s program in Arabic and Islamic Studies. The pre-requisite is the Associate’s Degree Program. Since the Quran and Sunnah is in Arabic, the Bachelor’s program is fully taught in Arabic. Students learn the Arabic language from classical Arabic sources. In Islamic Studies, students familiarize themselves with the classical sources and get to investigate, research and analyze these sources first hand in the Arabic language. In essence, it’s learning Arabic in Arabic and learning Islamic Studies in Arabic from the classical sources.
